Watervliet Parade

When Mrs. Webster said that we were going to do a parade through Watervliet, I was so excited to participate. I have been stuck in the house for almost 3 weeks now. I only left the house once to go to the grocery store.

Here's the map they sent out. I was a bit confused but I figured I would follow the leader.

I did have a professional development at 10am this morning. I think the teachers are learning as much as the kids are these days. I didn't want to miss either thing. It was going to be tight but I felt like I could do it.

I made it to Watervliet High School just in a nick of time. A lot of cars were already lined up. I had some balloons, and stuck them out of my windows.

We crisscrossed all through the streets of Watervliet. My car was towards the end of the line. Did you see me? I got really choked up and then started crying when I saw all of you lined up, even though it was raining! The day was dreary, but I saw so many happy rainbows all over the city. It really touched me.

Someone said they counted over 90 cars! How many do you think there were?

Mrs. Brown made a great slide show with a ton of different pictures from the parade. Are you in there anywhere?
